We're so happy to meet you!

1st Year DPT Student | Miramar, FL
"I chose UM because of how personable and inviting everyone is! It had already been my top-choice school for so many reasons and I was ecstatic when I got accepted, but the community here (created by the faculty + students) truly made it impossible for me to go anywhere else. I wanted to be on the Marquette Committee because fundraising and service activities have been such an important part of my life. Contributing to Physical Therapy research, and getting to involve my classmates, friends, and family while doing so, was an opportunity I couldn’t let pass me by!
Outside of school, I really love drawing/painting, doing outdoor water activities, going to parks and gardens, having beach days, and just enjoying the scenery around me!"

"I choose UMDPT because of the family oriented program and endless opportunity I would be exposed to. I decided to be a part of Marquette because I wanted help the future of physical therapy in anyway I can and funding research is a huge part of that.
Some things I like to do for fun are play soccer, go to the beach, and spend time with my family and friends."

"I choose UMDPT because miami is a second home to me and the opportunities presented in this program/city are incredible. I chose to be a part of Marquette because I wanted to tap into my creative side and find various ways to raise money for the future of physical therapist across the nation.
Some things I like to do for fun are play soccer, watch movies, or explore the beautiful views and locations Miami has to offer."

" I selected the University of Miami's DPT program for its strong sense of community and the excellent networking opportunities it provides. In my earlier experiences, I was a college basketball player, and I continue to maintain my enthusiasm for an active lifestyle by participating in a variety of sports, including basketball, soccer, pickleball, biking, and running.
I'm thrilled to be a member of the Marquette committee, where I can help plan events to support important causes like physical therapy research."
